Pump Lift Stations Overview

Rather than buying components and setting them into a concrete pit, many industrial customers are using pump lift stations in the pit to reduce installation costs, eliminate leakage problems and corrosion issues, and reduce maintenance costs. Any size lift station is possible, including custom shapes with secondary containment.

Wastech Controls is an experienced fabricator and electrical panel builder. So when our customers ask about a pump, we can save them time and effort by offering the whole package! For more information, check out our standard vertical centrifugal pump lift stations (VPLS Series).

Pump lift stations are used to move industrial liquids such as chemicals, wastewater, rinse or wash-water, or process liquids that need to be treated before dumping into a sewer. The pump lift station package may include a pump control panel or just a junction box on top of the lift station. Pump lift stations can be simplex (one pump) or duplex (two pumps). They will always include:

  • Tank and cover
  • Vertical centrifugal pump
  • Check valve on the discharge
  • Level sensors
  • Level control
  • Viewing port
  • Vent fitting
  • Inlet fitting
  • Alternating relay if duplex

Chemical Dispense Station or Glycol Feed System   Wastech's CDS Chemical Dispense Station or Glycol Feed System automatically dispenses metered amounts of any chemical on demand, including viscous fluids. It comes with a NEMA 4X control panel with ON/OFF, HOA switches and a fused receptacle. It is fully wired with all piping, a check valve, pressure switch, and isolation valve. Standard features include a 15, 30, 55, or 100 gallon tank with hinged cover, and a 5.5, 8.5, 12 or 20 GPH automatic metering pump.

Wastech engineers
help customers with assistance in sizing the pump and designing the total solution. Call Paul Nicolas (ext. 221) or Kevin Holm (ext. 215) directly. We will also supply engineering drawings if requested. Wastech offers these stations in PP, PVDF, PVC, or stainless steel, and with all types of pumps and controls.
